These highly placed printers offer standard (42A) and high yield (42X) cartridge options. The 4350 was the fastest single function monochrome printer available at the time, printing at 55 pages per minute.

Our Odyssey^® Mag Roller (Product Code: H4555MDR-OS-5) eliminates banding issues seen in other aftermarket offerings and allows remanufacturers to build extended yield and max fill cartridges without worrying over mag wear. Using a mag roller press (Product Code: HP43MRPRESS-I) for mag roller replacement is necessary to avoid light density prints and other print defects.

We recommend a full Static Control build to ensure great image density with no banding defects for the life of the cartridge, especially in 42X cartridges to avoid premature wear of components.

The contact end plate is held by three plastic welds that have to be broken during remanufacturing and proper reassembly is essential to avoid a “Remove Shipping Lock” error. Note that the high yield version of these cartridges has a wiper blade that is held in place by a molded plastic overlay that has to be cut for component removal.
